At Design Theory Studio, we want you to love your purchase. If for any reason you don’t, we offer exchanges or a credit note within 7 days of receiving your order. To be eligible, please contact us strictly within this timeframe so we can honour the policy.
Change of Mind Returns

Instead, we provide a store credit or exchange.

All returned items must be:

Unused and in original condition

Packaged exactly as they were received

If items are returned without original packaging or are not in resaleable condition, a handling fee may be deducted from the credit.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure goods are returned safely and securely. Items must be carefully packed to prevent damage in transit.

Once your return is received, our team will inspect the item and issue a credit note within 7 business days.
Faulty Items & Damages
Our pieces are crafted with care, often by skilled artisan makers. As each item is unique, small variations in colour, texture, or finish are part of the handmade process and should be celebrated as characteristics of your piece.
Shipping Damage Claims
If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. We will require:

A clear description of the issue

Images of the damage

Photos of the packaging and shipping label
This must be lodged within 24 hours to qualify for a claim. If the damage is cosmetic or considered part of natural variation, it may not be eligible for refund or replacement.
If you no longer have the original packaging but believe your item is faulty, please contact our team to discuss possible options.
Once an order has been received by the customer, responsibility for the item rests with the purchaser.
Changes to This Policy
Design Theory Studio reserves the right to amend these terms without prior notice.
